.discussion... /515 am cst wed mar 10 2010/ initial low pressure system and light rain shower activity has moved north into iowa...with low stratus wrapping in behind it across eastern kansas and northwest missouri. The low stratus has only made it to about i-35 with a slightly higher deck continuing to spread eastward over the rest of the forecast area. Expect the clouds to linger across the area through the day with some erosion possible along the eastern edge where dry air has wrapped in. Differential surface heating will define the location of the next surface boundary to be in place across the area for this evening.
