About This City

Trimble, Missouri is a thriving community of 634 people that was incorporated in 1909 according to this web site. Trimble, MO has a website that can be found here. The towns' website has not been updated since approximately 2004 although I have offered to volunteer time, resources and ideas to update the web site.

This weather station is located approximately 1/4 mile west of Trimble in the Clinton Estates subdivision of Clinton County. A brief history of Clinton County can be found here

Since there is no official history of Clinton Estates subdivision. I will provide a brief and unofficial record on this web page. Clinton Estates, sometimes affectionately referred to as Tribal MO, Trimble West and/or Wayne's World was developed out of a corn field sometime around 2005. It was a thriving subdivision that was the textbook definition of suburban sprawl until the housing market collapsed in 2007. Now (May 2014) there are plenty of empty lots and show houses that can be purchased at a decent price. There is no clubhouse, community swimming pool or fancy entryway but it is a nice neighborhood nonetheless. An unofficial census count (by me) puts the population at 85 give or take several. That does not count the cows and coyotes that live just outside of the subdivision but will make occasional visits. There are also several Killdeer, Cardinals, Doves, Bluebirds, Hummingbirds, an occasional deer and a Mockingbird that frequent the neighborhood. Besides the wildlife Clinton Estates is inhabited by common people that either like to drink beer/wine/whiskey/rum by the truckload or don't drink at all. We are a diverse neighborhood.

Additional history will be written shortly

About This Website

This site was originally set up while I still lived in Kansas City, MO shortly after the year 2000 crisis. Thankfully, that "crisis" bumped up entry level IT salaries until I had enough experience to find a real IT job. I finally had enough disposable income to purchase a weather station and start up a web site. The original website included a few weather graphics and some party pics that were placed on the site. Things haven't really changed a lot since then.
