Images from the Ice Storm  of December, 2007  in Trimble, MO .

  • Red Bud tree bent in half and touching the ground. Somehow this tree didn't break and was transplanted in the Spring with excellent results.
  • Glazed trees across the street from our house.
  • Sleet and ice as deep as the grass. Purple Fountain grass not surviving the winter.
  • Icicles hanging from the mailbox and the back end of an ice encrusted PT Cruiser that sat in the driveway a lot during this aweful winter.
  • Some perennial grass not standing upright from the ice.
  • A view towards Trimble proper.
  • An Oak tree that was bent in half. This tree is still messed up and can hopefully be straightened out.
  • Ice encrusted Weather Station.
  • Zoomed in on the weather station
  • More messed up yard and trees.
  • Bracken's Brown Beauty Magnolia trying to cope with the ice.
  • Birch clump frozen to the ground.
  • I can't believe how well these things pop back after being frozen to the ground for half a month.
  • More long icicles on the Magnolia.
